ract: With the gradual advancement and deepening of higher education reform, the requirements of the state and society on the teaching research ability of college teachers are also gradually changing and improving, and the demands of college teachers on the improvement of their teaching research ability are also increasing. From the perspective of teachers career in colleges and universities, this study takes N university as a case to analyze the overall problems of teachers teaching research ability in N university and the corresponding problems in different career stages. Then, based on these problems, different strategies for improving teachers teaching research ability in different career stages are proposed. This study not only provides a certain reference for the teaching reform of N university, but also provides a certain reference significance for the field of teaching reform.
