Abstract: Currently, global warming caused by carbon emissions has given our survival and sustainable development has brought serious negative impact. One of the major sources of carbon emissions from fossil fuel combustion and land use change, the development of land use and agricultural production rapidly, large footprint, become a major source of global climate change. At present, the Chinese share of agricultural emissions is very high, accounting for 17% of Chinas total carbon emissions, and every year the growth trend. Therefore, an accurate grasp of Nanjing Agricultural land use change emissions and the implementation of corresponding carbon emission reduction policies on this basis, it is particularly important. In this paper, the status quo of Nanjing agricultural land based on analysis of resource use, with agricultural land use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, diesel oil, tillage and irrigation releases carbon sources, estimated the Nanjing 2000 2013 years of agricultural land the use of carbon emissions, concludes: 10 years, Nanjing Agricultural Land reduce carbon emissions have a certain tendency, and showed "slow fast slow" Three reduction stages, from 2000 of 237,282.11 tons to 2013 of 123,101.93 tons, a reduction 48.12%, of which the proportion of fertilizer and plastic sheeting carbon emissions is large, and there is no significant reduction in plastic sheeting.
